MMP International first introduced the
GRIPFLOOR
Range to its UK customers in1999. Since that time, this range of
prefabricated fibreglass (i.e. glass reinforced polyester) products has become a
best seller throughout British industry and commerce. At the same time MMP
introduced Low Profile Treads which have also proved to be very popular.
These are 600mm x 150mm ( 2 feet by 6 inches ) in size and 1mm thick. Low
Profile Treads are ideal for use in all types of environment. Golf clubs are
particularly good customers, because they value an easy-to-use product, and one
that lasts for many years exposed to all weathers.

Like all MMP products, Gripfloor Industrial Grates (above right) are very strong but relatively light, do not corrode, are totally non-slip, have no scrap value and so are unlikely to be stolen like steel ones.
The standard Maxi-Grate (1200mm x 1200mm x 38mm or 4 feet x 4 feet x 1.5 inches) can support over 600kg of distributed weight over its span. MMP has achieved great success with Gripfloor Grates from all types of industry including transport (especially rail), water, electric, councils, oil & gas and steel. Corus Tubes who make steel pipes are a very big user of our grates which are now a stock item at their Corby plant. The open grates allow the plant operatives to stand on a safe and dry surface, well clear of the cutting oil and swarf on the floor.
